  This use to be a good grocery store, but the more I shop there, the more I realize they set-up deceiving advertising. Anyways leave feeling cheated.

  On surface seems fine but management says fruit flies on the produce are normal so I avoid "fresh" produce here.

  To be clear, on numerous occasions visiting this store I saw flies on the vegetables and fruit. Upon contacting them (and even providing video!) I was told it was 'normal'. Being relatively new to Canada at that time this soured my opinion of grocery stores here. When I asked the locals though, they were shocked at this supposed Canadian normal.

  Cashier was extremely pleasant but the lady that was bagging (dressed like a manager) was banging our items and dented my can of soup. They seemed well stocked and it was clean and easy to park.

  IGA is always a positive and generic grocery shopping experience. Food is of good quality, staff is helpful and responsive and the environment is clean and peaceful (No angry or ill-behaved shoppers or staff), and.....they pack the bag for you.....the way it's supposed to be done. Worth paying very slightly more for the better experience in my opinion.
