  I should have found this place sooner! I had a broken front door handle and there was no direct replacement that could be found at Home Depot that fit in my door. Someone else I knew recently had the same problem, and they bought a new handle (these things run for $80 - $200 - the types where there is a knob on the inside and a decorative handle on the outside) and a had a locksmith install it with modifications to the front door (labor was probably $100+). So I Google'd a locksmith, thinking I'd have to do something similar, found the place closest to me, and gave them a call, and they said all I had to do was bring in the broken handle/knob to see what they could do.

  I was having difficulty installing a Schlage latch. Schlage was unable to help. So I called Pointe-Claire Locksmith to have someone come and finish the install. Instead Jeanette took the time to explain two possible solutions over the phone. The latch is now working perfectly and I saved the cost of a call. This is what I call exceptional service and I will call them first if I need locksmith services in the future and I will absolutely recommend them to my friends.

  Being born and raised in PC, having used their services several times, I highly recommend. The ladies are wonderful and knowledgeable. Moving out to a new area, I will be using their services again even though there are plenty of other service providers. For me it's about TRUST in the professionals I engage in business, especially who has access to my door. I don't have to think twice, it's done, well done and safely.

  I walk in, show the broken door handle and all its parts to the women running the shop, and within seconds they knew which parts were broken, which parts had to be replaced, and a couple minutes later, I had the new parts and instructions on how I should put it back altogether. Those couple of minutes saved me a whole lot money vs. getting a new handle and my door modified for it to fit.

  They used to do the job just fine. Now I feel conned. They told me (about two years ago, yes) that they would call me, or that my lock would be finished by (name weekday, we've seen them all).
